Dominique Delahoche was born in 1971 at Saint-Dizier, France. He is currently and from 2002 solo trombone of the Orchestre National de Lorraine. He has a diploma from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon. He is a contemporary repertoire specialist and he has four internetional prizes in interpretation, in France, Italy, and Switzerland (1999, 2000, 2001). In 2006, motivated by the will to compose and by and by meeting the italian composer Ivan Fedele (with whom he studied in the Conservatoire National de Région de Strasbourg), he decides to become both an orchestral musician and a composer. He studies currently with Mark André. His catalogue comprises several pieces for different constelations, from trio to orchestra. He had the chance to write for the Orchestre National de Lorraine (Académie Acanthes-2008 and creation of a performance for children –2009), also for la musique de l’air de Paris, the « Stravinsky » ensemble, the « multilatéral » ensemble, the chambre choir of Strasbourg, the « Salon dela Musique »… He has also composed some pedagogic pieces for small ensembles and for harmony orchestra.
