Christos Farmakis was born in Greece in 1981. He studied Music Theory and Harmony in Thessaloniki and Counterpoint & Fugue at the National Conservatoire in Athens. From 2007 he lives in Copenhagen where he is studying Composition at the Royal Academy of Music with Hans Abrahamsen and Bent Sørensen.
