Matías Seibaek was born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1981. He starts at a young age his musical studies and in 2000 he enters the Royal Danish Academy of Music with profesor Gert Mortensen. In the spring 2001 he gets a position as an assitant percussionist in the Danish Radio Orchestra. In 2003 he starts a contract with the Royal Danish Orchestra and later that year he wins a permanent position in that orchestra. Matias does not longer play wtih this orchestra. In 2006 he graduates from the Royal Danish Academy of Music. After that, he enroles the prestigious Solist class in the same academy. He offers his Debut Concert as a Soloist in february 2009. Matias has played as a solist in Italy, Austria, Sweden, USA and in diferent places in Denmark among them two performences with the Copenhagen Philharmonic. As orchestra musician Matias has played in: Danish Radio Sinfonietta, The Royal Danish Orchestra, Ålborg Symphonie Orchestra, Odense Symphonie Orchestra and Orchestra of Scandinavia (Orkester Norden). He plays in in evidenza ensemble and is a founding member of this ensemble.
